CE/FCC-compliant platforms from Eurotech are delivered to the OEM, ready for the core application to be added, and include the sheet metal enclosure, interface devices, user interface, and power supply for fastest time to market.

Devices

Ready to use devices are designed by Eurotech to perform specific functions, such as RFID data capture, WiFi access, and cellular routing. With these devices, enterprise customers can immediately gain the benefit of the units without additional development.

Embedded Boards

Our embedded computers come in standard and custom form factor options as low as 1/4W power consumption in ARM architecture and about 3W for Intel architecture designs. OEMs choose by processor, form factor, operating system, I/O options, and display resolutions to select the right embedded computer for the application.

Intel Xscale IXP465 and IXP425 Design Expertise

Eurotech have many designs based on the Intel IXP465 and IXP425 processors. This CPU has some unique features- hardware crypto that is fast enough for streaming video, multiple embedded network processors for high speed networking via USB or Ethernet and IEEE15888 for precision clock sequencing. The IXP465 and IXP425 are challenging development platforms, they use a specific 'endian'[ format that must be observed. Of more information on our IXP design expertise, please contact us.

Intel and AMD x86/Geode Technology

For the past twenty years Eurotech has provided x86 design and build services as part of its value added proposition in projects requiring modified and custom x86 solutions. Eurotech offers a world class team of engineers with design expertise in high performance 16 and 32-bit embedded x86 processors, firmware, BIOS, embedded operating systems, and mechanical design.

Eurotech applied decades of Intel architecture experience to developing the Catalyst Module from firmware to framework. The Catalyst Module offers a conforming system BIOS developed in-house but with extensive support from Intel, ensuring customers that our code is optimized to Intel Atom power management architecture. Our embedded controller software was also developed in-house for a low cost, low power, and industrial strength solution. Furthermore, our operating system (OS) choices on the Catalyst Module are extensive.

Value : Business Model

Eurotech is dedicated to offering flexibility in both our product line and our business model, which is easily customized to meet unique OEM needs for the Catalyst Module and other Intel Atom-based solutions. Customers can build their own carrier board (by working with Eurotech or through a third party) to accompany the Catalyst Module and work with Eurotech using off-the-shelf, optimized, or architected solutions.
